Besides acting, Psyroj was also a respected film director and was honored with his handprint at the Thai Film Archive in 2009 for his contributions to Thai cinema. His family has deep roots in the entertainment industry, including his father Karam Sanguaribut, his sister Jirapa, and his uncle Phratch Sanguaribut, a National Artist. Psyroj studied electronics at Bangkok Technical College and earned a master's degree in communication arts from Krirk University. His death was confirmed by the Facebook page 'Dara Phap Phim,' with funeral rites scheduled at Wat Makut Kasattriyaram Ratchaworawihan, beginning June 4.
