Golesh Provides No Update On Atkins After Georgia Win

Auburn head coach Alex Golesh offered no further details regarding star linebacker Xavier Atkins following a historic victory over ranked Georgia, despite his team's success without him. Although the suspension was expected to impact key defensive roles, Auburn executed effectively with other linebackers like Elijah Melendez and Bryce Deas leading 17 tackles combined against an offense that finished with only 113 yards total. Golesh previously described Atkins' situation as 'in-house,' but confirmed Monday he still lacks a specific update on the player's status or return timeline.
