CD Projekt Unveils Witcher 3 Remastered Specs and September Launch

CD Projekt RED confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered will launch globally on September 29, offering a free download to existing owners. PC users can expect an update size of approximately 45 GB, while Nintendo Switch 2 requires about 50 GB for the separate product installation. Review embargoes lift one day prior on September 28 across various time zones including Los Angeles at 3 AM PDT and Tokyo at 7 PM JST.

The developer released an official list of improvements categorized into visual, combat, quality of life, and miscellaneous sections. Visual enhancements include modernized lighting to make the world more detailed than ever before. Combat mechanics have been significantly improved with particular attention paid to exploration elements. The skill tree has been entirely rebuilt for both new players returning to the Path.
