Fortnite servers go offline Nov 1 for One Piece launch

Epic Games officially took Fortnite down at 1 a.m. ET on November 1 to prepare for the release of its new mini-season, Treasure Hunters (Chapter 7 Season 5), which features a major collaboration with the anime series One Piece. The downtime begins as pre-downloads start rolling out that evening on specific consoles and platforms. This event will introduce smaller lobbies, special skins including characters like Monkey D. Luffy and Buggy the Clown, and new sprites, concluding with a live event on December 5.
