Spurs' New Guard Trio Struggles as Wembanyama Copes

The Spurs faced challenges with their new three-guard starting lineup during the season opener, where second-year guard Dylan Harper replaced Julian Champagnie in a move that altered Coach Mitch Johnson's game flow. Although De'Aaron Fox returned later to run the offense for the second unit, he struggled to connect as a secondary creator alongside Champagnie and Keldon Johnson, resulting in turnovers. In the second half, Victor Wembanyama missed his first 12 shots of the night but does not plan to overreact to this rough performance.
