Riot Announces VCT China's Eight New Partners for 2027

VCT China is reportedly expanding its roster of partner teams in 2027, with XLG and Weibo Gaming set to join the league. This expansion brings the total number of partners to eight as part of Riot Games' broader restructure of the Valorant Champions Tour. The new season aims to increase global participation through over fifty tournaments across Opens, Cups, Masters, and Champions events. Additionally, Riot confirmed that the premier Game Changers Championship will conclude its run at Austin in 2027 during the main VCT event. Qualifying teams for this championship have been awarded $100,000 each to support their participation.
