Pitt Players Respect Belichick's Resume But Focus on Beating UNC

North Carolina coach Bill Belichick arrives at Acrisure Stadium to face No. 25 Pittsburgh Saturday for the first time since taking over in Chapel Hill ahead of the 2025 campaign. Pitt players acknowledge Belichick is a six-time Super Bowl champion and legend, yet remain focused on beating North Carolina. Defensive end Isaiah Neal noted that facing Belichick creates an expectation of organized execution from his Tar Heels but expressed excitement to play every game well. Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi believes the ACC has many good coaches, including Boston College's Bill O'Brien and Clemson's Dabo Swinney, though Belichick brings a distinct pedigree with nine Super Bowl appearances between 2000-23.
