Tulane Seeks Narrative Shift Against Memphis Rivalry

Following a recent loss to Army, Tulane faces its toughest challenge against top-ranked Memphis this Friday at Yulman Stadium. First-year coach Will Hall and his players aim to alter the team's narrative by defeating their conference rival, which is currently on a five-game winning streak under new head coach Charles Huff. While Tulane has shown continuity in past seasons, they struggle with quarterback play and defensive consistency against Memphis's high-scoring offense that averages over 500 yards per game. The Green Wave must rely heavily on turnovers to stop the Tigers' big-play machine, as any fumble recovery could be a decisive factor in this pivotal matchup.
