Trump Heads To Grand Island For Midterm Rally

President Donald Trump is traveling to Grand Island, Nebraska, for a midterm campaign rally on Monday aimed at bolstering his party's congressional majority. The event marks the start of his final weeks of campaigning in deep red states as he supports incumbent Senator Pete Ricketts against independent challenger Dan Osborn in a closely contested race. While local farmers face economic challenges from suspended beef tariffs and high diesel prices, political allies predict Trump's appearance will benefit Ricketts' campaign. Supporters have formed lines since late Monday night to attend the event at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center.
