The couple, who got engaged earlier this summer, shared their timeline in an interview with TV Insider. Kelani Jordan, who wrestles for WWE's NXT brand, confirmed the goal date, citing the need for ample time to focus on their demanding wrestling careers. Hayes is currently competing on the SmackDown brand in the 'Last Time is Now' tournament to determine John Cena's final opponent, with a first-round match scheduled for November 21 against Bronson Reed. Jordan, a former TNA Knockouts World Champion and the first to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship, recently lost her TNA title in a Triple Threat match to Léi Lee at NXT Gold Rush: Week 2. Jordan expressed appreciation for Hayes, emphasizing how their shared understanding of the wrestling life helps strengthen their relationship. The couple's engagement was announced in July after a proposal by the 2025 winner of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Jordan highlighted the mutual support and understanding they provide each other, especially given their high-level careers in professional wrestling.
