Dolphins Narrow GM Search to Four Finalists Including Interim GM Champ Kelly
The Miami Dolphins have narrowed their search for a new general manager to four candidates, including interim GM Champ Kelly, as they move closer to replacing Chris Grier, who was fired in October. The finalists are Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander, Packers VP of Player Personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan, 49ers Director of Scouting Josh Williams, and Dolphins interim GM Champ Kelly. The team has conducted virtual interviews with additional candidates from the 49ers, Eagles, and Rams, such as Tariq Ahmad, Alec Halaby, John McKay, and RJ Gillen. In-person interviews are scheduled this week with the four finalists. Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel, who previously worked with Williams in San Francisco, is involved in the selection process.
