Whitney Leavitt to Make Broadway Debut as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago' After Dancing With the Stars

Whitney Leavitt, known for her role in Hulu’s *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives* and as a semi-finalist on *Dancing With the Stars*, is set to make her Broadway debut in the Tony-winning revival of *Chicago*. She will play Roxie Hart starting February 2, 2026, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City, with a limited engagement through March 15, 2026. Leavitt, a Utah-based actress and mother of three, has gained a large online following through her dance, comedy, and lifestyle content. Her appearance on *Dancing With the Stars* was a significant milestone, where she reached the semifinals and received praise from judges, including a perfect score in week nine. This role marks her first professional theater performance, although she previously performed an Argentine Tango to *Cell Block Tango* on *DWTS*. The revival of *Chicago*, which opened in 1996 and is now the second-longest running show in Broadway history, features a star-studded cast including Kate Baldwin, Sophie Carmen-Jones, and Alex Newell. The musical, with a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, features iconic songs like “All That Jazz” and “Razzle Dazzle.” Whitney Leavitt’s move to Broadway follows her successful stint on reality TV and her rise as a social media influencer, making her transition from TV to stage a notable event in her career.
