To unlock these rewards, players accumulate Merits based on XP, with a total of 3,600 Merits needed to claim all prizes, which include items like backpacks, weapons, emotes, and cosmetic gear. The event runs until December 7, offering regular unlocks every 150 Merits. The game has also added a new map, Stella Montis, characterized by its cramped corridors and intense close-quarters combat, contrasting with previous open maps like Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport. This map emphasizes chaos and player interaction, with a high density of enemies such as Shredders, and fosters fast-paced, high-stakes raids. Additionally, Embark Studios has implemented duo matchmaking, allowing players to team up with a friend more effectively. Previously, duos were often matched against larger squads, but now the system prioritizes matching duos and trios separately, enhancing cooperative gameplay. The upcoming 'North Line' update will include a community resource event to unlock Stella Montis, new ARC enemies, a legendary weapon, and more quests. The update also reduces cosmetic prices and offers compensation to players who purchased higher-priced items. The game is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for $40, with ongoing content updates scheduled through December.
