Kristin Chenoweth Leads Cast For The Traitors Season 5

The fifth season of the Peacock series The Traitors has officially revealed its cast for a launch scheduled in 2027. Leading this new group are celebrity icons including Kristin Chenoweth, Whitney Leavitt from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and Bianca Del Rio from RuPaul's Drag Race. Other notable additions to the roster include Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, NFL star Rashad Jennings, actor Dominic Monaghan, singer Cody Simpson, and multiple stars from reality franchises such as Bravo Housewives, Love Island USA, Southern Charm, The Bachelor, Survivor, and Big Brother.

This announcement follows Peacock's recent renewal of the show for three additional seasons, extending its run to Season 8. Host Alan Cumming has also signed a new deal with the network. In addition to this main series, NBC recently launched The Traitors: New Blood as a civilian version based on the Dutch format De Verraders.

The core gameplay involves splitting contestants into two factions: the Faithful and the Traitors. At the start of each season, Cumming selects three players who become undercover traitors with the goal of eliminating faithful members one by night while avoiding detection. The remaining participants must identify these hidden players before choosing a victim to "murder" in an attempt to win the prize fund.
