Musk's Terafab Discusses Chips With Ten Korean Suppliers

Elon Musk's Tesla and SpaceX are engaging nearly ten South Korean semiconductor suppliers for their Terafab chip manufacturing project. While HPSP and Hanmi Semiconductor were previously the only publicly linked equipment vendors, representatives from both companies visited about a dozen Korean firms at SEMICON West 2026 to evaluate products ranging from piping components to testing tools. Many of these discussions began months prior to the event on October 13 in San Francisco. Suppliers such as ENF Technology and Asflow have already advanced past initial contact stages, with some having signed nondisclosure agreements.
