Cervera: Tenerife Needs Good Vibes Ahead of Girona Clash

CD Tenerife coach Álvaro Cervera stated the team needs to recover positive feelings and hopes for a good result before their match against Girona CF on Monday. This is the ninth meeting between the two clubs in LaLiga HyperMotion, with nine previous encounters occurring within just 12 years from 2009 to 2021; Tenerife won four of those matches while drawing three and losing only once during that period. The last time they met was a promotion playoff match in January 2022 where Girona defeated the visitors with a score of 3-1, though this is their first meeting in Copa SM El Rey history.
