Collins Claims She Is Not Trump's Favorite Senator

In a Tuesday night debate for the Maine Senate seat, Republican Sen. Susan Collins stated she was "not exactly" President Donald Trump's favorite senator while criticizing his policies and trade war strategies. Meanwhile, Democrat Troy Jackson argued that Collins has failed to effectively push back against the administration. Polling data shows Jackson narrowly leading Collins with 50 percent of likely voters compared to her 46 percent in a recent survey conducted before their debate.
