Kerr Confirms Return After Initial Exit Plan

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed on YouTube's Tom Tolbert Show that he initially planned to retire after the 2026/27 season due to travel demands. However, meetings with front office executives Joe Lacob, Kirk Lacob, and Mike Dunleavy Jr. convinced him otherwise. After taking time off during the summer to let emotions settle, Kerr signed a two-year contract extension.
