Australia collapses for 99 in Gqeberha; Head unbeaten on 87 as Proteas level series

In the second Test between South Africa and Australia at Gqeberha on October 22, 2026, a historic collapse saw Australia bat out for just 99 runs in their first innings. This result forced them to follow-on for only the third time since 1988 and left them trailing by 170 runs after they had reached an unlikely total of 156-4 in response.
