Shaquille O'Neal Buys Three Rolls-Royces to Retort Salesman's Insult

During his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, Shaquille O'Neal visited a luxury car dealership dressed casually in shorts and flip-flops. After an older salesman condescendingly questioned whether he could afford the vehicles due to O'Neal's attire, the 7-foot-1-inch basketball player felt offended by the remark. To demonstrate his financial power and prove the point regarding affordability, O'Neal immediately purchased three Rolls-Royce cars that day for approximately $1.3 million. He requested immediate delivery of the vehicles to his mansion, which were subsequently parked in his garage rather than being used regularly.
