Jeanie Poling, a veteran singer central to San Francisco's bluegrass scene, has died at age 67 following three and a half years of battling two rare cancers. She passed away on August 26 from pneumonia, according to reports by The San Francisco Chronicle released in September. For over four decades, she performed alongside her husband Chuck Poling as the duo behind the "Bluegrass Country Jam," which operated for twenty years before being shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic.
