Galaxy S26 Ultra Leaks: AI, Privacy Display, Unchanged Battery
Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy S26 series, including the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25. Leaked promotional materials highlight prominent Galaxy AI branding and features like Photo Assist, which enables prompt-based image editing, and an AI-enhanced camera experience touted as "brightest" and "easiest." A notable new feature is the Privacy Display, which can darken the entire screen when viewed from off-angles, with previous leaks suggesting granular options for specific display areas such as notifications. For the Galaxy S26 Ultra, performance is expected to be upgraded with the latest Snapdragon chip. However, several key specifications appear to remain unchanged from its predecessor. The camera layout is reportedly identical, featuring a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP 5x telephoto, a 50MP ultrawide, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP selfie camera. The battery capacity for the S26 Ultra remains at 5,000 mAh, with an estimated battery life of around 31 hours, consistent with the previous model. Charging speeds also seem to be unchanged, with the device reaching 75% charge in 30 minutes, despite earlier rumors of 60W charging.
