Ducks Call Up McQueen for Possible NHL Debut

The Anaheim Ducks have called up top prospect Roger McQueen from their AHL affiliate, setting him to potentially make his major league debut Tuesday night against the Calgary Flames. Selected with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 draft, McQueen previously played college hockey for Providence Friars before signing an entry-level contract and making his professional debut with San Diego Gulls. He is joining a young core that includes Leo Carlsson, Cutter Gauthier, Beckett Sennecke, and Mikael Granlund to bolster the team's forward line behind its established stars.
