Rays clinch ALDS opener with Rasmussen's near-perfect outing

The Tampa Bay Rays secured a 1-0 victory over the New York Yankees in American League Division Series Game 1, led by pitcher Drew Rasmussen. The former Milwaukee Brewers ace threw 101 pitches across eight innings and struck out ten batters while issuing two walks. He allowed only one hit during his performance as Austin Wells broke up a potential no-hitter with an eighth-inning double that resulted in an error at third base.
