Kawhi Leonard Boosts Scottie Barnes in Raptors Preseason Rout

Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard has significantly improved teammate Scottie Barnes' performance during their first preseason game together. In a 148-98 victory over the New York Knicks, Barnes scored 19 points and shot an efficient 8-for-10 from the field while playing alongside Leonard on the floor. Coach Darko Rajakovic noted that Leonard draws defensive attention, creating space for Barnes and other teammates like Immanuel Quickley to operate effectively in driving lanes. While Kawhi Leonard averaged a career-high 27.9 points per game last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, his presence has already elevated Barnes' production compared to previous games where he faced different lineups.
