Portugal FC: FC Vizela's Social Initiatives and Community Engagement Recognized

FC Vizela's social initiatives and community engagement efforts have gained recognition and accolades. In April, the club's 'FC Vizela Social' project focused on promoting children's rights through activities involving players, staff, and fans. The project included distributing bracelets, visiting schools, and creating a giant blue ribbon at the stadium to symbolize children's rights and the fight against mistreatment. Several players, such as Rodrigo Ramos, Busnic, Diogo Nascimento, Anthony, João Reis, and Jójó, actively participated. Out of 68 social responsibility projects conducted by Liga Portugal clubs in April, FC Vizela received an honorable mention, ranking just behind Casa Pia AC and alongside other clubs like CD Nacional. The Liga Portugal president, Reinaldo Teixeira, presented the award to FC Vizela's president, Joaquim Ribeiro. In addition to their social work, FC Vizela continues to focus on sports development, with recent activities including talent recruitment for both male and female athletes and expressing pride from coaches like Ricardo Costa, who described managing the club as a privilege. The club's ongoing community activities and recognition highlight its commitment to social responsibility and sports excellence.
