Sir Don McCullin Releases Final Book on Vietnam War

Legendary war photographer Sir Don McCullin is releasing his final book, a powerful retrospective of the Vietnam conflict that defined both his career and a generation. At 90 years old, McCullin has compiled thousands of images captured during multiple assignments in the 1960s and early 1970s to create what he calls his "final testament." The new book features some of his most iconic work alongside never-before-seen photographs that document the violence against civilians and the exhaustion faced by U.S. Marines embedded with him. McCullin stated ahead of publication, "I want my pictures to hurt you," emphasizing his desire to make viewers uncomfortable rather than offer free rides.
