Marshall Manning Returns From Foot Injury As High School Quarterback

Peyton Manning's son, Marshall Manning, has returned to play after a month-long absence due to a foot injury. The 13-year-old freshman at Baylor School in Chattanooga made his comeback with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of a 45-17 victory over Montgomery Bell Academy on September 25. In this game, he completed his first pass to freshman receiver Jayden Cauvier. Manning had previously seen limited action in two games earlier this season: an eight-yard completion against Brentwood Academy and another six-yard gain with Antwaun Adams before sustaining the injury that sidelined him for nearly a month. He currently serves as the backup quarterback behind Keegan Croucher, who is committed to Ole Miss.
