Pennsylvania Father Threw Two Kids from Garage, Then Jumped
Patrick Lynch, a father of two children in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, was found dead alongside his daughter Caroline and son James near the foot of a five-story parking garage on Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials, Patrick threw both children down before jumping after them. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that all three died from blunt force injuries. While the father's death is being ruled as suicide, the deaths of his two young sons are classified as homicides.
Anna Lynch, Caroline and James' mother, stated in a social media post that Patrick was "depressed" after losing his job in August. She noted he had agreed to see a therapist on November 4th but did not attend before committing suicide.
