Panthers Drop Three Starters as Jaelan Phillips Misses Again

The Panthers are without three starters against the Packers, including outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips who missed a second straight game due to an aggravated hamstring strain. Left guard Damien Lewis is also out with a knee issue, while defensive tackle Bobby Brown III remains questionable from a hand injury. Additional inactives include tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders, emergency quarterback Haynes King, running back AJ Dillon, and guard Torricelli Simpkins III. The team addressed roster thin spots by placing cornerback Akayleb Evans on injured reserve, signing rookie Malcolm DeWalt IV to the active roster, activating Marco Wilson from practice squad, and adding Jake Curhan.
