Morocco Defeats Mali 2-0 In Tangier After Ghana Match Cancellation

The Morocco national team defeated their opponents, Mali, with a scoreline of two goals to zero in a friendly match held at the Grand Stade de Tanger. This result follows the recent cancellation of an originally scheduled fixture between Morocco and Ghana due to internal financial disputes within the Black Stars camp.

Ahead of this encounter against Mali, midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi praised the consistent support Moroccan fans provide both domestically and internationally. He acknowledged that while Mali is a strong team, his squad remains fully prepared for the challenge at home. The match took place on Saturday evening after Morocco completed their final training session in Tangier following victories over Gabon and Lesotho during their qualification campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
