Mizzou Wears Throwbacks For Stadium Centennial Game

The University of Missouri football team will wear special throwback uniforms during Saturday night's game against Troy at Memorial Stadium to celebrate the venue's 100th anniversary. The newly designed jerseys feature a historic gold shade on the pants and an earlier era look for the jersey, while black, gold, and white stripes on the sleeves honor past teams like Al Onafrio's "Giant Slayers" from the 1970s. Additionally, Mizzou will recognize its undefeated 1960 team as a national champion during halftime ceremonies following U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt's resolution approved by the Senate.
