Mike Tomlin Could Be Hottest NFL Coaching Candidate If He Wants Back

Sources indicate that Mike Tomlin is expected to be in extremely high demand as an NFL head coaching candidate in the coming months, though it is not considered automatic that he would leave his broadcasting job at NBC. While his contract with NBC allows him to depart for a team other than another network, factors such as the demands of coaching compared to his promising career are expected to receive consideration. Tomlin's availability will be the biggest consideration for teams during the NFL's next firing-and-hiring cycle, and one high-ranking official stated that if he is willing to return, it could cause one or two teams to create an opening.
