Maura Higgins Dismisses 'Fixed' DWTS Win Rumors

Maura Higgins addressed viral speculation that Dancing With the Stars is rigged to guarantee her victory. Speaking on Alix Earle's YouTube series, she acknowledged the widespread press rumors suggesting an automatic win but expressed reluctance in publicly engaging with them, noting how tempting it would be if true so she wouldn't need to learn dances. Despite wishing for such a scenario, Higgins emphasized that hard work remains essential, stating she has never underestimated her commitment to training alongside partner Mark Ballas. Although the duo topped early leaderboard scores and earned the season's first nine during their waltz performance, Higgins admitted she still possesses doubts about maintaining this pace due to dancing not coming naturally to her.
