Melania Trump Visit Triggers Enhanced Security for LSU-Alabama Game

LSU Athletics announced significant security upgrades for Saturday's football game against Alabama due to the presence of First Lady Melania Trump. The event includes a $5 million gift from an anonymous donor to establish the Fostering the Future endowed scholarship at Tiger Stadium. Working with the U.S. Secret Service, officials have implemented heightened screening and campus-wide delays starting at 5 a.m., with gates opening at 9 a.m. Fans are advised to arrive early as interior streets will close for restricted zones that prohibit parking or tailgating. Specific entry adjustments include updated ticket scanning at Gates 11–12 and 22–28, along with directions to suite elevators via Gates 20–21. A help line is available where fans can text "LSU" followed by their issue and location to 69050 for assistance.
