Louisiana Seeks Revenge Against Southern Miss In Week 8 Showdown

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns face their oldest rival, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, in a crucial homecoming matchup at Renasant Stadium on October 24. Led by sixth-year head coach Michael Desormeaux and quarterback Lunch Winfield, Louisiana aims to avenge its previous loss while pursuing bowl eligibility with a record of 5-2. The Cajuns' defense plans to stop the run against Southern Miss's Landry Lyydy-led offense, which is seeking its second win of the season despite falling behind in recent games.
