Resident Evil Requiem Launches Roguelike 'Leon Must Die Forever' Mode

Capcom has surprise-released a free DLC mini-game for Resident Evil Requiem titled "Leon Must Die Forever." This roguelike mode features Leon S. Kennedy progressing through 20 levels with randomized weapons, enemies, and increasing difficulty, culminating in a boss battle against Victor. Players must complete the main campaign and update the game to unlock the mode, which offers permadeath. Capcom stated, "Grace made it home safely, but Leon still has work to do. Use his enhanced abilities to complete this minigame as fast as possible." The mode was released rather than the widely expected Mercenaries mode.
