Fan Drives from NC to Recreate Craig Melvin's Iconic Photo

Lakeva K. Ferreira traveled from North Carolina to the TODAY plaza for Halloween wearing a costume that replicates an iconic photo of host Craig Melvin in a jacket over a white turtleneck, big glasses, and holding a violin. The famous image is frequently displayed on the program, often causing frustration among viewers who find it amusing at Craig's expense. Ferreira explained she decided to dress as him because people constantly joke about that picture, noting she had driven all night to arrive in time for filming. She appeared alongside hosts Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly, playing her violin while maintaining character during their discussion.
