Herbstreit Calls Notre Dame Schedule Embarrassment

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit criticized the University of Notre Dame's football schedule as an embarrassment during a preview for College GameDay. He argued that the Fighting Irish face two challenging games against BYU and Miami, contrasting this with how top-tier teams like Alabama and Ohio State handle their calendars. Herbstreit noted that while Provo offers a hostile environment due to strong local support and facilities, it remains difficult for Notre Dame's playoff aspirations given its 0-2 start in the previous season.
