Chiefs Sign Justin Tucker to Practice Squad Amid Butker Struggles

The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly signing veteran placekicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad, a move that follows reports from former players urging the team's action. Reports indicate Harrison Butker is struggling this season with only an 1-for-2 record in extra points and poor field goal conversion rates recently. Former Chiefs player Gehrig Dieter suggested on social media replacing Butker with Tucker after his own release by Baltimore, though he noted Tucker remains unsigned as of May 2025 despite a career-low performance in the prior year.
