The Kinoshita Group Japan Open Tennis Championships, the longest-running ATP Tour tournament in Asia established in 1972, is set to take place from September 30 through October 6, 2026. Held on hard courts at Tokyo's Ariake Colosseum, this $2,342,275 prize-money event features Carlos Alcaraz as the top seed alongside second-seed Taylor Fritz and qualifiers Stefanos Tsitsipas and Arthur Fils. The tournament is played across 48 courts within a stadium that includes one of tennis's first retractable roofs. Japan's Kei Nishikori previously won titles in 2012 and 2014 before retiring after losing to Tiafoe.
