Car Influencer James Wehr Dies in Fiery McLaren Crash

Australian-born car influencer and South OC Cars and Coffee co-founder James Wehr, 27, died early Sunday morning in a high-speed crash of his 2019 McLaren supercar near Irvine. The vehicle lost control on Deerfield Avenue, struck a tree at speed, split apart, and burst into flames before firefighters extinguished the blaze. Firefighters identified Wehr as the first victim but could not immediately identify the second occupant, Alexis "Lexi" Kramer, 22, who was confirmed dead by family members later that day after flying to meet him from Florida.
