Roger Waters Calls Metallica's James Hetfield a 'Prick'

Former Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters has publicly criticized Metallica frontman James Hetfield for his recent comments regarding political discourse at concerts. During an appearance on Katie Halper's podcast, Waters referred to Hetfield as a "prick," stating he is bored with the musician and claims he lacks musical ability despite having significant wealth.

Waters' remarks followed Hetfield's speech during Metallica's performance at Las Vegas Sphere, where the band leader told fans that their concert agenda focuses on love, energy, and heavy music rather than influencing audiences through political agendas. While acknowledging Macklemore was removed from Ed Sheeran's tour for pro-Palestine speeches, Waters also brought up allegations of using Metallica's music in American prisons.

In contrast to the tension between these artists, Mötley Crüe frontman Nikki Sixx recently stated that his band does not care about a fan's political affiliation or personal identity. Both Hetfield and Sixx have emphasized keeping their performances free from outside influence.
