Jalen Williams Exits Clippers Game On Stretcher After Ankle Injury

Oklahoma City Thunder star Jalen Williams left Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers with a severe leg injury, having landed awkwardly after an attempt near the rim. Medical staff attended to him on court before he was carted off on a stretcher around two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Williams recorded 8 points and five assists during his 32-minute performance but exited without further details available from head coach Mark Daigneault, who stated updates would come tomorrow. Teammates reacted with concern; Shai Gilgeous-Alexander expressed sympathy while on-court players offered support before Williams gave the crowd two thumbs up.

The injury marks a continuation of issues for Williams, who has faced multiple setbacks including wrist and hamstring problems throughout last season's playoffs. Oklahoma City won their third consecutive game against San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets prior to this loss.
