Van Bronckhorst Returns Watanabe to Start Against Heerenveen

Feyenoard coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst has reinstated Tsuyoshi Watanabe in the starting lineup for their upcoming match against SC Heerenveen, ending a four-game winning drought. During previous Champions League fixtures and recent domestic games, Watanabe missed action due to an injury but is now deemed fit by Van Bronckhorst. The Dutch manager made minimal changes from his Inter Milan squad selection, opting instead to utilize Shaqueel van Persie in the second half for potential minutes after he was substituted earlier against the Serie A side.
