Sensor Tower Data Reveals GTA 6 Pre-Orders Hit 6.45 Million

According to Sensor Tower's latest weekly update on October 20, Grand Theft Auto VI digital pre-orders worldwide have reached an estimated 6.45 million units, representing a net revenue of approximately $630 million after accounting for returns. The data indicates that PlayStation accounts for the majority of this demand with roughly 74% market share (approximately 4.80 million copies), while Xbox holds about 26% (1.66 million copies). This figure represents an increase from earlier estimates recorded on October 13, which showed 6.08 million pre-orders and $594 million in revenue. When compared to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II at the same point prior to its launch two years ago, GTA VI's digital preorder numbers are currently 148% higher. It is important to note that these figures represent third-party estimates covering only digital copies within specific regions and have not been officially confirmed by Take-Two Interactive.
