Eagles Key Receivers and Tight End Miss Consecutive Practices

200

The Philadelphia Eagles are facing significant injury concerns ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, with three key pass-catchers missing consecutive practices. Reports indicate that wide receivers DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), along with tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), have not practiced on either Thursday or Friday.

Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer suggests Smith is highly questionable to play the Monday night game, noting he was sidelined for practice reps in Week 6 due to a nagging hamstring issue. If Smith and Wicks are ruled out, the Eagles' receiving corps will rely heavily on Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore, and Britain Covey.

While running back Saquon Barkley has shown positive signs of recovery from his own hamstring injury, the absence of three top targets continues to cast doubt on the team's offensive readiness. The Eagles practice again Saturday before releasing final game designations.
