Chelsea Plot £85m Gianluca Prestianni Move Amid Villa Rivalry

Tottenham Hotspur is targeting Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni for a potential £85million deal, joining Chelsea in the race to sign the 20-year-old Argentine attacker. Reports indicate that while Tottenham has been closely monitoring his impressive form—scoring five goals and providing three assists in seven Liga Portugal games this season—they face stiff competition from Aston Villa, which also holds long-standing interest in the player.

Chelsea is among several Premier League clubs actively tracking Prestianni's rapid development since joining Benfica from Velez Sarsfield in 2024. Sources suggest that talks regarding a transfer are scheduled between Chelsea and Benfica as recruitment departments assess whether the winger is ready for the next step of his career before potentially moving to one of Europe's biggest leagues.
