Gary Sinise Headlines Free Portsmouth Military Concert

Veterans Count, part of Easterseals NH, will host a free Salute Our Heroes concert in Portsmouth on Thursday, Sept. 24. Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band are set to headline this event presented by Service Credit Union at 35 Corporate Drive. The band has performed for service members globally since its formation in 2003 following years of military support work. Sinise is known for his role as Lt. Dan Taylor in Forrest Gump and continues advocating for the armed forces through music. The evening features an opening act starting at 5 p.m., with the main performance beginning at 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit Easterseals NH Veterans Count, the NH Military Assistance Foundation, and Northeast Passage. These organizations provide critical case management, emergency financial aid, housing support, mental health services, and care coordination for veterans and their families.
