"Fixer Upper" is returning with a new spinoff series as hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines tackle a massive renovation project. The upcoming show, titled "Fixer Upper: Chop Bought a Mansion," follows the couple's effort to transform a 15,000-square-foot estate in Waco within three months.

Chip purchased this property three years ago as an investment, but it quickly became a daunting task when they discovered extensive structural issues. Jo is now stepping in to assist Chip in turning the outdated home into a beautiful residence ready for its next chapter. The six-episode series documents every step of their journey, highlighting unexpected setbacks and budget challenges inherent to renovating such a large property.

In the premiere, the couple hosts an open house to gather feedback from realtors and community members while developing their renovation plan. To refine her vision, Jo consults with designer friends for guidance. As construction begins, Chip seeks creative methods to offset costs by selling salvaged materials on-site, whereas Jo concentrates on balancing architectural character with her signature design aesthetic.

Throughout the season, Jo travels to East Texas sourcing unique pieces for the mansion while Chip experiments with landscaping and interior styling. Upon nearing completion of the renovation, the couple will add final touches before welcoming real estate agents.
